CHRISTOPHER J. PICCIURRO CPA, MBA, PFS, ARA formed the firm in 2002. He spent two years as an adjunct accounting and finance instructor at Baker College in Clinton Township and currently teaches at Davenport University in the MBA program. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University in August 1997. He received his Masters in Business Administration from University of Detroit-Mercy in June 2003. In addition to being a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan, he holds several financial services and insurance licenses. He served as a Trustee for the Greater Algonac Chamber of Commerce between 2003 and 2005. His Personal Financial Specials (PFS) designation is the financial planning accreditation held exclusively by certified public accountants (CPAs) who are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). By combining their education and experience as a CPA with financial planning knowledge and training, Personal Financial Specialists have broadened their expertise and are eminently qualified to assess your current financial situation, help you define your financial needs and goals, and work with you to develop and monitor a plan to meet your goals. The Accredited Retirement Advisor (ARA) designation is a credential that recognizes professionals who have a thorough knowledge of: preparing their clients for retirement, the essentials of estate and trust planning; and financial planning for the elderly. Beyond his passion for his business, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, his children, Christian and Trinity, and family and friends. He and Holly love exercise, sports, travel, Detroit Tigers baseball, Michigan State University athletic events, relaxing at their Caseville cottage and most of all, laughing. Chris is also the official CPA of SpartanNation.com and its affiliates.
